Sterling Aviation Early High School Students Recieve Early Preparation for Logistics- Friday, March 8th 


An innovative partnership launched by the University of Houston College of Technology and Sterling Aviation Early College High School, has been designed for students in the high school’s Houston Community College (HCC) dual credit logistics and global supply chain management course.  The classes provide opportunities for high school students to earn college credit and high school credit through concurrent enrollment with HCC while still in high school. Throughout the spring 2019 semester, UH College of Technology faculty and supply chain and logistics seniors will provide classroom activities and college and career information designed to increase students’ skills and prepare them for earning a degree.

SIDO for Snacks! - Jan. 31st


The first SIDO social event of the Spring semester started off at The Nook Cafe and made its way to Calhoun's Rooftop Bar. Officers, members, and students had a great time getting together to have some fun and get to know each other!

Saint Arnolds Brewery Tour-


Socials are filled with both fun & knowledge! Learning every aspect of logistics with a tour of Houstons one and only: Saint Arnolds! SIDO members got to walk through the production & packing facility of the Brewery as well as learn the history behind the company.

First General SIDO Meeting - Jan. 17th


What is SIDO? That is the question. SIDO members learned what SIDO is and what we have to offer to our members. Officer positions, future meetings, socials, and events, company representatives, and opportunities within SIDO were discussed with current and potential members.

COT Career Fair - Tuesday, February 12th


SIDO members volunteer at the bi-annual College of Technology Career Fair. In addition, SIDO members visited with company representatives - inquiring about internship positions available.

Project C.U.R.E. - Saturday, February 16th


SIDO and SBE members teamed up to help fill a shipping container with donated medical supplies to be shipped to Guinea.

H.E.L. Meeting - Thursday, February 7th


Mr. Bryan Hendon of Emerson spoke with SIDO members about what the Houston Electric League represents, how important the electrical industry is, and the requirements and specifications of the H.E.L. scholarship and internship opportunities.
